Obituaries
Dr. Sheila Gail Nichols Dare, DMD
(October 1, 1967 - February 24, 2009)
Dr. Sheila Dare DMD, age 41, of Northport, AL and formerly of Jones passed away on Tuesday February 24, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 on Saturday February 28, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church in Jones with Rev. Scott McQueen officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service funeral Home directing, there will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. Dare is survived by her husband, Charlie Dare, her children, Kaitlyn Dare, Brandon Dare, Tyler Kelbert, and Greg Dare, her father, Thurston Nichols, a sister, Melanie Ray (David), a niece, Renee Dobbins (Shane), two great nephews, Webb and Josh Dobbins, two sisters-in-law, Carrie Blevins (Marvin), and Julie Shanks (Patrick), her mother and father-in-law, Bob and Nancy Dare, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Tyler Kelbert, Greg Dare, Brandon Dare, Keith McCullough, Kyle Lawrence, and J.T. Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be Webb Dobbins, Josh Dobbins, and Kaitlyn Dare. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 1121 Paul W. Bryant Drive Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. The family will receive friends on Friday February 27, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
